生物活性：紫杉醇是一種天然存在的抗腫瘤劑，可穩定微管蛋白聚合。紫杉醇可引起有絲分裂停滯和凋亡細胞死亡。紫杉醇還誘導自噬^[1][2]。 IC50 和目標：IC50：4 nM（微管）

體外：Paclitaxel (20 nM; 48 hours) 誘導程序性細胞死亡，并在細胞周期的 G2/M 期存在阻滯^[1]。
Paclitaxel (20 nM; 48 hours) 誘導p53^[1] 水平的持續增加。

體內：紫杉醇(1-20 mg/kg; ip; 1次/2天，共5個周期)在低紫杉醇組明顯誘導肝轉移，對原發腫瘤生長影響不大^[3]。
