BoxB是HMGB1蛋白（高遷移率族箱）的一個DNA結合域。

HMGB1的BoxB是在大腸桿菌中生產的（Müller等人。HMGB1與雙鏈DNA相互作用的熱力學。生物化學2001, 40: 10254-61），它來自一個表達質粒，該質粒編碼哺乳動物序列，該序列在人類和小鼠中wan全相同，前面增加了四個氨基酸（MARI），這是為了在細菌中表達而添加的（Bianchi等人。HMG1蛋白的DNA結合位點由兩個類似的片段（HMG盒）組成，這兩個片段在其他真核調控蛋白中都有對應的部分。EMBO J 1992, 11: 1055-63）。

緩沖液：50 mM HEPES-Na pH 7.9，500 mM NaCl，0.5 mM DTT。

儲存：蛋白質是凍干運輸的。一旦重懸，可以在-20°C下冷凍儲存。
